Sandbox experienced a two-year hiatus following logistical complications as a result of the worldwide pandemic; when early-bird tickets were announced back in February, they sold out in no time despite an unknown line-up.

Sandbox distinguishes itself not only through its line-up but through offering an unusually luxurious festival experience: festival attendees spend their time kitesurfing, diving, and snorkelling in the Red Sea. 

This year's festival is set to take place from 26th to 28th of May, with an extensive international line-up featuring over 50 artists from around the globe. 

The world of electronic music is still a male-dominated sphere, but this year's line-up shines with female DJs from around the world. 

From Egypt, we are expecting to hear the best that techno, house and indie-rock electronica have to offer from stars such as Zeina, Maie, Zeyada and Gazbee.
