With plenty songs penned and yet to be released, Trudy Triad is ready to share her versatility with the world, album by album.
With her 14 track debut, The Grow-up ,Trudy told a story of growing pains, lessons and triumph. The album boasts two hit singles which were featured on Nam Radio Talent Search Africa Playlist and Energy 100FM. These two singles are Khululeka and Stressed II Blessed. Autonomy has also been a crowd favourite online.
With the success of her first album, it is appropriate to have a follow-up EP called The Grow-up Afterparty. The first single released from the prospective EP is Headphones and Gonna Make It ft Deavntr.

She has performed at three editions of the monthly You Are My Sunday series and Sawubona Music Jam. Additionally, she has had her first concert, The First Corner Show, which was a success. In the near future, she plans to have more performances of her music. More details on that to be confirmed.
Born Trudy Rozani, she hails from the bustling town of Mthatha in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. The birth of Trudy Triad as an artist began when she unlocked her ability of songwriting at the age of 15. She chose her artist name because she metaphorically believes in a three part harmony of the mind, body/voice and spirit producing her music, which she hopes more people will enjoy. Instead of trying to fit into a box, she subscribes to a brand of versatility.
As a person who produces her own music and is in control of her sound, she is inspired by the likes of Marsha Ambrosius, Miss Pru DJ, and Lalah Hathaway, to whose voice many have likened hers. Her musical fetes include being part of the CAB Festival group of songwriters for musical theatre in 2021 and making top 10 Finalist in the Darling Brew Just Make Music competition with her song DB Trinity. With all these badges of honour, she is just getting started.
She also runs a YouTube channel named after her onstage moniker. Amongst many things, she avidly analyses music and pop culture on it. You can also find her live performances there.
