Each year, African fashion enthusiasts eagerly anticipate the latest collections from their favourite Black and African designers. From the annual Lagos Fashion Week to Banke Kuku's stunning Ethereal show and GTCO Fashion Weekend, let's recap some of the breathtaking moments that had social media buzzing.

Ugo Monye is proof that Men's fashion can also be flamboyant and diverse. Rooted in culture and celebrating the King in every African Man, Ugo Monye shows us the endless possibilities that come with utilising cultural elements in today's Fashion.  

Another breathtaking moment was when Banke Kuku presented the beauty of Lagos on the runway. Her SS25 collection, 'Oceans' represents the ironic calmness of Lagos waters.  While using fashion as a tool to advocate for Marine conservation, the loud prints, drapey pieces and subtle essence remind us why Banke Kuku continues to pioneer the Lagos luxury fashion scene for 13 years and running.

Finally, Omar Salam brought geometry, bold colours and carefully crafted elegant artistry to the GTCO fashion runway.  Omar Salam infused the Lagos runway with African diaspora flair, showcasing structured pieces that struck the perfect balance between corporate chic and lavish coats bringing an undeniable edge.
