Couture: The Unraveling of Desire

I began to shed tears, as I realized I wasn't understanding what my fashion tutor was teaching me, and this has continued for weeks now. I decided to learn how to sew during the pandemic, but never did I imagine it will require this much mental fortitude and agility. 

"Why are you crying faith" my tutor asked but I continued to cry, what was I feeling? What was this feeling of inadequacy? Could it be that it was the birth pangs of desire? Of purpose? 

I would remember this particular few months later, for it was where determination was born, passion and desire to explore the fashion and styling world was birthed from. 

An adage says " anything doing at all is worth doing well" I continued from that day hence forth to give myself to the art, the tradition, to the knowledge required to be a designer. Little did I know that it would only take a few months to really birth purpose. 

A few months later I was working with photographers and model around the country, something I would never have dreamed of.
