I used to beat myself up with guilt whenever I reflected on how much I had messed up in the past, feeling like I could never change the narrative. I found it hard to forgive myself, and as a result, I became a prisoner of my own mind.
What did this do to me? It led to condemnation, regret, stagnation, and isolation. I forgot what the Word of God says in Romans 8:1 "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus..." The devil always tries to remind us of our past mistakes to shift our attention away from the good that God has for us and the goodness within us.
God is the master planner who knows how to turn what the devil intended for evil for His glory, transforming our mess into a message of deliverance for the world. It took me a long time to realize and believe that God has truly forgiven me. The truth is, He forgave me the very first time I confessed and repented of my sins. 
Stop letting the devil deceive you into believing lies about who you are; he doesn’t even have the script of what God has said about you. God is the ultimate scriptwriter.You are who God says you are! You are a carrier of His DNA and glory. 
It wasn't until I broke free from the lies the devil told me that I truly felt liberated, and I began to discover who God has called me to be. God wants to turn your mess into a message, your gory into glory, your pain into gain, and your weaknesses into strength. 
Allow God to heal your wounds so that you can become a healer of men. Let Him repair you so you can become a repairer of destinies. Stop delaying the manifestations of God in your life by holding on to your past.
