“You’re Just A Speck of Dust In The Universe”

“I’m just a speck of dust in the Universe” is what you tell yourself to make you and your actions seem small and insignificant. It gives you a sense of relief to know that your perceived mistakes don’t have such great impact on the world. This is true. The realisation is a humbling reminder that you are not the be all and end all of this world. At the same time, that statement could mislead you to believe that you are not a vital part of the universe.
You are as important as all the planets put together.

Judging importance based on size or number is a human-made notion. Relevance of concepts is determined based on context. For instance, a therapist would be said to be unprofessional if they begin to discuss the state of the economy rather than their client’s trauma. This is not because the economy is not important, it’s just that in this context, the client’s mental health takes priority. Where there is no established context of conversation, you would agree with me that both topics are important. In the same vein, straightforwardly, you are as important as the whole world.
Have you heard of the Law of Conservation?

The law of conservation says that energy can neither be created nor destroyed. You are made up of energy. If energy cannot be destroyed, it cannot cease to exist. It can only transition to another form. This means YOU CAN NEVER DIE.
Death does not exist, at least not when it comes to real things like you and I. Think about ‘dead’ leaves. What happens to them? They get consumed by microbes which get consumed by insects which get consumed by birds and so goes on the food chain. Energy transforming into new states. What about faeces? They’re used to grow plants. ‘Dead’ bodies? They go right back to the earth.
“Nothing real can be threatened.” — Eckhart Tolle
Even the religions believe there is something after death. But if so, how then are you dead? Fear of something that doesn’t exist will only keep you trapped.
“The secret of life is to “die before you die” — and find that there is no death.” — Eckhart Tolle
There are no voids in the universe.
You are too important. You may think that I’m trying to be motivational. But don’t you see that without you, the Universe would be incomplete? Anyway, that’s impossible. There are no voids in the Universe. Haven’t you ever wondered how come we have never needed to import resources from an external world?
We have created all these technological devices with materials that are available to us here. Everything we could possibly conjure in our minds can be created, and we have all the resources here and now. Lack does not exist, it’s only a figment of human imagination. There can never be a Universe without you.
“There are no voids in the universe. There is no such thing as lack.” — Londrelle
