Background
Born Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun on 16 July 1990 in Ojuelegba, Lagos. Young Wizkid grew up listening to King Sunny Ade, Fela Kuti, and Bob Marley. He formed a group called the Glorious Five with his church friends. He adopted the stage name Lil Prinz, which he changed in 2006.
