Disney Plus has released the trailer for "Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire," an upcoming animated series that promises to ignite the imaginations of viewers with its thrilling story set in a vibrant world where elemental powers and ancient legends collide. This sci-fi fantasy anthology series includes animated short films from Nigeria, Egypt, Kenya, South Africa, Uganda, and Zimbabwe.
With a diverse cast of young heroes discovering their extraordinary abilities, this epic tale will explore themes of friendship, self-discovery, and the power of unity in the face of adversity. Get ready to be swept away by the flames of excitement as "Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire" blazes onto screens, igniting a new generation of animated storytelling. The stories feature recurring themes of Afro-futurism, advanced technology, aliens, spirits, and monsters.
The ten films in the series are: "Stardust" (Ahmed Teilab from Egypt), "Mkhuzi: The Spirit Racer" (Simangaliso "Panda" Sibaya and Malcolm Wopé from South Africa), "Hatima" (Terence Maluleke and Isaac Mogajane from South Africa), "Enkai" (Ng'endo Mukii from Kenya), "Moremi" (Shofela Coker from Nigeria), "Surf Sangoma" (Nthato Mokgata and Catherine Green from South Africa), "Mukudzei" (Pious Nyenyewa and Tafadzwa Hove from Zimbabwe), "First Totem Problems" (Tshepo Moche from South Africa), "Herderboy" (Raymond Malinga from Uganda), and "You Give Me Heart" (Lesego Vorster from South Africa).
