"I was raped, physically and emotionally abused for two years by Jub Jub. The only thing I did wrong was to keep quiet. But that ends here. I will not be publicly ridiculed by this criminal. Him and Mac G saw it fit to drag my name on their podcast for clout at the cost of amplifying a Gender Based Violence Case," the Skeem Saam actress said.
The video was in response to revelations made by Jub Jub in an episode of Podcast and Chill with MacG, where the rapper said he "smashed" Amanda.
"No, you didn't smash me. You forcefully opened my legs, and you forced yourself on me many times," Amanda responded.
Following her revelations, Broadcast journalist Masechaba Khumalo came forward accusing Jub Jub of raping her at his mother's house, "I believe @AmandaDupont. Molemo Maarohanye (Jub Jub) raped me too," she tweeted.
Jub Jub's cousin, Bonokuhle Nkala, likewise revealed that the artist raped her when she was 17 years old. The gospel singer shared this on her Instagram story.
One of Jub Jub's former workmates at Moja Love TV, Refilwe Kumalo, also said she faced many sexual advances from the hip hop artist.
Jub Jub was sentenced to 25 years in jail for murder in 2012. He was released on parole in 2017 after serving just four years, one month, and one day of a reduced sentence after the murder conviction was overturned.
Jub Jub's family has since issued a statement saying they will file charges against the women who have "damaged our son's reputation," calling the allegations "fake".
