Popular Yoruba Nollywood actress Kudirat Ogunro, widely known as Kudi Alagbo, has clarified a controversial statement she made in the past, where she claimed she wouldn’t mind if her husband had a girlfriend outside, as long as he took care of her.

In a recent interview with Oyinmomo TV, the actress jokingly admitted that she was drunk when she made that statement and hinted that her past experiences influenced her views on relationships.

“I was drunk when I said I don’t mind if my husband has a girlfriend outside our marriage,” Kudi Alagbo said.

However, she noted that while she might not completely retract the statement, she still has her reservations about men and their ability to remain faithful.

“To be honest, the statement I made was due to my past experience, and still, I won’t say I will retract the statement completely because I still don’t trust men to that extent. Men will always be men, and they will not be a perfect man,” she added.

The actress, who is also a single mother, spoke about her personal life and relationship status during the interview. She revealed that although she has a man in her life, she is not ready to get married yet.

“I’m a single mother, but I’m not searching for a man now because I’m not ready to get married,” she stated.

She further explained that everything has its own time, and she does not feel pressured to take the next step into marriage.

“Yes, I have a man in my life, but I’m not ready to proceed to marriage yet because everything has its own time, and it’s not time for me yet,” she said.

Kudi Alagbo also shared her journey as a single mother, revealing that she got pregnant at a young age while still in school, which led to her inability to complete her education. Despite this, she remained determined to provide a good future for her child.
