Today na today..

Na today people go know say.. I no Dey play!

Here goes..

I left my house as usual after praying for divine Favour.. (😌a daily routine). Got to my second bus stop… you know that bus stop yeah?

Great.. let’s move..

So I got there and saw one of my soul sisters. Now my soul sisters are babes like me who wait at the bus stop.. like me.. to get a direct ride to work … like me 😌😌. Soul sisters… 😏

So I saw her and greeted as usual.

People of God!.. I did not know that God had set aside a special Favour for me o… na Im one person be wan chance me.. a whole me 😒. Like hello?, do you know who I am in Christ?!..

Let’s move on.

So she signaled to me that someone was coming to pick us. Ah!.. I said ‘Lord.. this love is overwhelming!’

I was happy cus i wouldn’t have to wait minutes.. flag 50 cars for own to give us a ride. A ride was coming!!!

Na so I pemp for corner o.. 💁💁.

A few minutes later, two of my other soul sisters came around. We said the ‘HI’s and they took positions.

Mind you, we were not the only ones at the bus stop. We had the VIs’.. the Eko Hotels’.. the Obalendes’ and so on. 😌😌

So… my dear sister shared updates with our two new sisters who had just arrived and we all took positions… waiting for our God sent ride.

😏😏Ok .. so na here the story come change small.

Our ride came and twelve other people ran to it. Hmm.. in my mind, I say … these people

Just Dey whine me sha..but I follow run go meet am.

My soul sisters entered o.. with force.. remaining me. Well, I just decided to respect myself. If this one go.. another one go come. 😩

The vehicle was Toyota truck and could take three at the back, one in front. My spot had being taken by one aunty like that. Kai!.. she was an aunty guys.. and aunty!. ☹️☹️

I couldn’t tell her she was sitting on my spot nah..

It would have been so rude of me.. and I no rude. Secondly, it was not my motor 💁.

So I just walked away. But behold!😌 God was not done with me yet!. My soul sisters called me o and said ‘enter nah, we can’t leave you after we waited together’ 🤓I was touched. This sis the shops is for life Mehn!!.

So I hopped in and off we went.

Bodies tightly squeezed in.. my soul sisters, I, and the aunty 😌😇.

Episode 2

It’s a Tuesday morning… ‘twos-day’ Today..

I’m at the bus stop with the babes them.. now, these babes ain’t like we know we each other and all. We just know that we go the same way… to work.. and meet at the bus stop every single day for like a year.

Most times, we don’t board the same car.. but we have this unspoken understanding that if we do find a car going in our direction.. we just hail ourselves or share this eye signal… saying ‘lekki!.. let’s go!’

And that’s how today was.

We stood there for like 40mins? .. yea, 40 mins or more.

My people.. we flag motor tire! No one stop o

The vehicles are either occupied or not going our direction. Na wa..

News flash!.

One jeep stopped and I was closer.

Let me now gist you what happened.. this is like the highlight of this small gist.

As motor stop nah.. I come start to Dey run go meet am.

Omo!.. na so I hear say the other babes Dey run follow me. The scope is.. if you manage to sit in front with the driver.. na you Dey control the movement o.

Make I explain.

So when you sit in front.. the driver asks random questions.. like, ‘where are you guys headed?’

Remember say he Dey drive.. he no fit turn him head so him ear dey glued to the passenger side. You get?..

And anything wey you talk.. na Wetin he Dey follow. Unless, of course… you speak out from the back seat.

Deja cruise ooooooo

E don happen! E don finally happen!

First of all, I know I’m not so good with identifying cars and their models unless off course, the obvious ones like Porsche, Lamborghini, mustangs, Ferrari and so on.

I could board a Toyota and not even know its model 🫣🫣💁sorry.. but that’s my story. But if I enter them Ferrari… I pray make I no know am o !! 😇.

So, on this fateful day…. We entered a …. Car….🚘. And I told myself… Sister, you’re gonna guess and get this car right. At least, one one thing inside this car must give away the name or model..

And it began… i started looking around the interior for something… one thing sha must give..

Omo!.. everywhere burst! 😩

I saw nothing! Nada!

No engraving… no initials.. no symbol. Low key, we don Dey drive for like 30mins. Ah!.. Father, forsake not your daughter…

Like… the day I decided to consciously be aware of the motorized four-wheel machine that transports people from one place to another- CAR… was also the day the thing wanted to fall my hand. But God always has the final say… 😌😇

I gave myself assignment and it was looking like I was gonna write it, grade it and even score it myself!.

Well… thank Goodness it was my personal assignment. I can always postpone the submission date right? 😌😌.

Butttttt… something happened..

‘Our driver’ started a conversation with us and we all got talking and boom shaka!!.. he mentioned the model of his car and I felt kinda bad. Like… how e go be say a whole me no know say na Corolla I enter? Toyota Corolla!

What the heck!… ok, so I still didn’t know the model.. but it was a Corolla.😎😎

Abeg, I rest. After all, no be by force. 😂.. I move 🫣💁

It happened again!

This time.. I couldn’t stop myself!

I stood at the bus stop for an hour shouting on top of my lungs for a ride but what I didn’t do was to chase after vehicles that didn’t wait o.

Hilarious but lemme tell you how it is.

We stand.. hail for vehicles and run after the ones that pulled over. But today own get as much be.

We wait tire as some of my sisters Dey chase after cars wey go Dey stop for their friends, colleagues or family member. E go come Dey embarrassing to run finish… motors move.

Taaarrrr!!!.. I no run o.

I don see shege for this road matter..

That’s how we waited until we sighted one car 🚘 going our direction.

Forget o.. na all of us rush am.. even them guys gbess!. Guys, what did you expect me to do? 😒💁💁.

I’ve been there for an hour

Been trying to get a ride but family and fiends take over

Been praying for one ride to come ..

And here it was.. staring at me in the face. I just couldn’t maintain nah. Violence takers by force and boy was I violent!.

I don’t know where the power came from but I easily jumped on between two guys and jumped in. Ah!.. a whole me!.. super woman!! 💪🏾💪🏼💪🏽

Cruise!!.

This is one story I forget to share.

If you were there live.. maybe Una for laugh 😂😂😂

One evening as I Dey go house, I stand for bus stop on a usual Dey wait for motor wey Dey go my way..😌. All prayers said as I patiently waited for them motor. Mind you!, I wasn’t the only one going my way… we yapa!

After like one hour of waiting in ‘Peace’ while others fought to board limited cars.. I change am for myself. Like!… babe, you better wise up and be ready to jump into the next available one or wait here another thirty minutes for a ride. 😏

Omo!.. na so I dump my phone inside bag, adjust my cloth and plant my feet for strategic position. My eyes sharp as one Sienna parked beside us. 💃💃

We struggled to open the door.. but then the man came over and pulled open one side of the door. One side ke! No way! 😇😇

The front passenger side was open as the only person on that seat was watching us struggle to enter. Can you imagine? 😒😒

My brain just sharp!. I quickly maneuver my way for the front.. from there.. I enter rush go back seat.. no time! Na me this motor wan leave for here?! Taaarr!!!

Before people go fight enter finish.. back don complete. No be small laugh!!! 😂 cus it was hilarious.

I have never ever for once fought my way into a vehicle but today own… I do am!!!!
