We're thrilled to announce the first iteration of our platform redesign! This update brings significant improvements to both the user experience and the underlying technology. Here's an overview of what's new and improved:

Refreshed Look and Feel: We've given the platform a modern facelift, improving the overall user experience and feature access (UX).
Dark Mode: The platform now supports dark mode, defaulting to the user's system preferences for a seamless experience.
Focus Mode: Readers can now enjoy a distraction-free environment with our new focus mode, which hides non-essential elements during article reading.
One Access Home page: Explore all you can do within AMAKA platform from our home page. Click on the AMAKA logo on the top left of your screen to explore.

Faster Load Times: The new platform is significantly faster, providing a smoother experience for all users.
Optimized Video Performance: Videos now load and play more efficiently (with auto-play for desktop coming soon).

Content Creation and Consumption

Improved Reading Experience: Articles are now properly formatted with clear distinctions for links, headings, and other elements.
Enhanced Writing Tools: We've streamlined the article creation process, making it easier than ever for contributors to share their thoughts.

SEO and Discoverability

SEO Optimization: All pages now have proper titles, descriptions, and preview images to improve search engine visibility.
Improved Recommendations: While we're still using test data, the groundwork has been laid for personalized content recommendations, your feed page and recommendation are tailored just for you.

Platform Features

Better Onboarding: New users will find it easier to get started with our improved onboarding process.
Enhanced Gig Listings: We've revamped how gigs are displayed and interacted with on the platform.

Please note that the "Apply to Gigs" feature is still a work in progress. Any page that links to your studio is not working, we will redirect users to the current studio dashboard and change this when work on the the new dashboard.
