In the depths of my soul, I used to constantly feel anxious, and it affected every aspect of my life. It seemed like there was no way to escape or take a break from the overwhelming grip it had on me. Even the simplest tasks, like going to the nearby shop, felt like giant obstacles that I struggled to overcome. My mind would imagine all the worst things that could happen, which left me feeling paralyzed with fear. So, I would hide away in my home, dreaming of a life outside of my comfort zone that seemed impossible to reach.

It replaced the constant judgment and worry that used to consume me with a sense of peace and freedom. I was able to enjoy the beauty of life unfolding before me, without being weighed down by regrets from the past or fears of the future. In the gentle practice of mindfulness, I found a peaceful oasis where I could focus on my breath, listen to the whispers of my body, and soak in the wonderful sights and sounds around me.
As I continued my mindfulness practice, the tight grip of anxiety gradually loosened its hold on me. It opened up new possibilities and allowed me to step outside of my comfort zone. I decided to explore a new city, filled with both opportunities and challenges. With each step forward, my dreams started merging with reality, creating a better future not just for myself, but also for my beloved child. Life became more vibrant and I learned to appreciate every single moment, finding joy in even the simplest of things.
Living in the present doesn't mean ignoring the past or dismissing the future. It means embracing the past with gratitude and looking forward to the future with hope. It is about being fully alive and free, appreciating every aspect of our existence.
