I never thought I would win an award for my writing. In fact, I almost gave up on it a few years ago. But then, something changed...

Growing up, I loved writing stories and sharing them on social media. I had a page for writers where I posted an episode every day, and my readers loved my writing. But life got in the way, and I had to find a more stable source of income. I stopped writing and forgot about my passion. Until one day, in October 2023, I stumbled across a Scriptwriting Masterclass application post on Meta and thought I should try it. That was the best decision I ever made.

The Scriptwriting Masterclass was a life-changing experience for me. I learned so much from the instructors and the feedback from my peers. I also discovered AMAKA, a platform where I could share my stories with a wider audience and engage with other creative minds. I joined AMAKA in December 2023 and started writing pieces about my life, dreams, music, and more. I was amazed by the positive response I received from the AMAKA community. They encouraged me, inspired me, and challenged me to grow as a creator.

Yesterday, I woke up to an email that made my day. I won the Creator of the Month award on AMAKA! I was speechless and overjoyed. I want to thank AMAKA for this amazing recognition and opportunity. I also want to thank the Scriptwriting Masterclass instructors and participants for their guidance and collaboration. And most of all, I want to thank my readers and followers on AMAKA for their love and support. You are the reason I write, and you make me want to write better every day. Thank you for being part of my journey.
