Who's Mannywellz? Emmanuel Ajomale, better known by his stage name Mannywellz, is a Nigerian-born, Maryland-based singer-songwriter who has taken the music scene by storm with his soulful vocals and captivating lyrics. Born in 1994 in Nigeria, Mannywellz immigrated to Bowie, Maryland in  2003. His father is the renowned Nigerian gospel singer Kunle Ajomale hence Manny was exposed to music at a young age which has undoubtedly influenced Mannywellz's own musical journey. In 2012, Emmanuel Ajomale, a DACA recipient, faced potential deportation when the Trump administration moved to abolish the program. In response, artists united to create the album, "American Dreamers: Voices of Hope, Music of Freedom," led by Mannywellz with the track "American Dream." The album won a GRAMMY Award for Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album.

Despite DACA constraints preventing him from leaving the US, Mannywellz's career soared with a guest appearance on Wale's album and the release of his own successful albums, "SoulfFro" and "Mirage." Maintaining a strong connection to his Nigerian roots, Mannywellz collaborates with artists like Adekunle Gold and Tems, blending Afrobeats with genres like Hip-Hop, R&B, Jazz, and Funk in a captivating musical journey.
