After defeating second-seeded Aryna Sabalenka from Belarus, Tunisian tennis star, is headed to the Wimbledon Championships Final.
Jabeur won 6-7, 6-4, 6-3 after pulling off a spectacular comeback following her loss in the first set and being down 2-4 in the second set. "Thank you to the crowd that kept me in the match," the Tunisian star said. "It was very difficult with her shots and her serves. Thank you very much for believing in me,” she added to the roaring crowd.
She will be playing in the final for the second time in a row on Saturday facing unseeded Czech player, Marketa Vondrousova.
Jabeur remains the only Arab and African professional tennis player to make it to a Wimbledon final. Speaking about her upcoming face-off with Vondrousova, Jabeur described her rival as "a great player."
"I’ve already lost twice to her this year. I guess going for my revenge again is working," she joked.
