Miko Underwood

Miko Underwood is the Founder / Designer of Oak & Acorn ~ Only for the Rebelles, the first sustainable brand in Harlem, NY. As a Design Director, she has developed and launched a myriad of multi-million dollar Denim-Based Lifestyle brands for the Young Contemporary, Young Men’s, Missy, Juniors & Childrenswear markets. A denim expert, with nearly twenty years of wash, product and brand development, Miko has been an active voice in the sustainable denim space. She's garnered support from fashion organizations like Harlem's Fashion Row, RAISEfashion & CFDA's A Common Thread after a successful NYFW showing on the CFDA's Runway 360 this past September.
